Description
The ProDAQ 6400 provides a flexible foundation for building high-performance PXIe measurement systems with the convenience of Ethernet-based LXI connectivity. Its six PXIe slots allow different measurement, timing, digital I/O, and control cards to be combined within a single compact 19-inch, 1U instrument.
Designed for distributed data acquisition and automated test applications, the ProDAQ 6400 connects directly to a standard network without requiring a dedicated PXIe controller or an external PXIe chassis. Users can configure, control, and monitor the system through Bustec’s Data Acquisition and Analysis Software, the integrated web interface, or standard programmatic interfaces.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and redundant power supplies help maintain continuous operation in systems where reliability is critical. Hardware-based IEEE 1588 synchronization allows measurements from multiple instruments to be accurately aligned and timestamped across a network.
Optional capabilities—including a GNSS-based Grandmaster Clock, LXI Wired Trigger Bus, precision voltage reference, and 96 isolated analog outputs—allow the ProDAQ 6400 to be configured for applications ranging from precision data acquisition to large, synchronized monitoring and control systems.
